NüVoices DC Event: Gelato Social & Museum Hop
Come welcome the start of summer with gelato at the Hirshhorn Museum, followed by a visit to the Empresses exhibit at the Freer & Sackler Galleries.
Join us and fellow NüVoicers for a cup (or two) of gelato at the Hirshhorn and enjoy the summer weather!
At 3:45 p.m., we'll head over to the Freer & Sackler to catch the final weekend of the "Empresses of China’s Forbidden City, 1644–1912" exhibit. We'll meet-and-greet with Grace Murray, Head of Public Programs, participate in a public
walk-in tour
at 4:15, and finish off with a gallery talk by museum curator Jan Stuart.
If you're still up for more art and revelry, stick around for
Solstice Saturday
at the Smithsonian, which starts at 5 p.m. and goes all the way till midnight.
